Breast Augmentation
Breast augmentation, sometimes referred to as a “Boob job” by patients, involves using breast implants or fat transfer to increase the size of your breasts. Breast enlargement is performed as a day care procedure. It can be performed under local anesthesia with sedation, or under general anesthesia. Different incisions used to place the implants include:

After making an incision, pocket created behind or in front of the outermost muscle (the pectoral muscle) of the chest wall. Your surgeon will then insert the implant into the pocket and center it behind your nipple.
Once the implant is in place, your surgeon will close the incision with stitches and will bandage it with skin adhesive and surgical tape.
